NEW ORLEANS, LA (NOVEMBER 28, 2023) – Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group, the producers of world-class live events and location-based entertainment, announce the highly anticipated return of Krampus: The Fright Before Christmas (“Krampus”) at New Orleans Nightmare. The haunted holiday experience opens only Friday, December 8th and Saturday, December 9th. Krampus is back with his band of devilish elves and menacing nutcrackers to take over Christmas once and for all, bringing the horror-filled festivities to a whole new level.
New Orleans Nightmare has transformed the beloved haunted house into a Christmas wonderland, although it won’t be all glitter and snowflakes. Horrifying Christmas characters will haunt all those who enter, trading Christmas cheers for Christmas fears. In addition to the main haunted maze attraction, guests will enjoy themed photo ops and special holiday drinks at Bar 13 (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available). For those who want to take the terror one step further, guests will be able to add-on additional experiences: Phobia: Sensory Overload, a photo with Krampus, Mini Escape Rooms, the Shot in the Dark Secret Bar (21+), and the new Respawn Pass, allowing you to experience the thrills again and again.
During Krampus, New Orleans Nightmare will be hosting a toy drive for Children’s Hospital New Orleans, which brings care to children and their families from diagnosis through treatment. “New Orleans Nightmare has been part of this community for years,” General Manager Ashley Hill states, “It’s so important for us to be able to give back to the people that have supported us for so long, and we are thrilled to be working with Children’s Hospital to bring a little extra joy this holiday season.” Guests who bring a new, unopened toy to donate will receive a 20% discount towards merchandise on-site (*exclusions apply).
