3 Recipes For Vegetarians’ New Year’s Table

Let’s look at a few recipes that vegetarians will definitely appreciate.

Any other marinade that you like will do. Soak the tofu in it for a couple of hours or more. 
  3. Take out the tofu and wrap each piece in a cut-off strip of nori, having previously soaked it in soy sauce, marinade or just water. Wait for the algae to stick tightly. 
  4. Put the resulting vegetarian sprats in a wide jar and pour the oil to make it cover them. Close it tightly. Let it brew for several hours in the refrigerator, preferably a day.

Toasts with beetroot mousse and avocado

For the Mousse, prepare 600 beets, 350g of cream cheese, 33% cream — 100ml, walnuts — 100g, garlic — 1-2 cloves, salt and black pepper — as much as you need.

  1. Cook the beetroot until tender, peel it, chop it coarsely. 
  2. Brown the nuts in a dry frying pan, peel off the husks. 
  3. Pass the garlic through the press. 
  4. Put beets, nuts and garlic in a blender bowl, whisk in mashed potatoes, add cream cheese and cream, whisk again. 
  5. Salt and pepper to taste. 
  6. Grease the toast with beet mousse, garnish with avocado slices, add sesame seeds.

Festive cocoa 

We offer to prepare cocoa based on coconut milk for the festive table. This ingredient will give the drink the most delicate sweet shades and tropical aroma. Add a little cinnamon to set off the rich taste of cocoa.

You will need coconut milk — 300 ml, water — 100 ml, cocoa powder – 2 tbsp. l., sugar — to taste, cinnamon — a quarter teaspoon, almond extract — to taste

  1. Heat coconut milk smoothly over the fire. At the same time, dilute cocoa and sugar in hot water, add almond extract and cinnamon. 
  2. Pour the resulting coconut milk, bring it almost to a boil and remove from the heat. 
  3. Let it brew under the lid for 5 minutes and can be poured into mugs. Decorate the coconut cocoa at your discretion.
