According to the New Orleans Police Department, an argument led to a shooting in the 6200 block of St. Claude Avenue.

The 37-year-old victim was allegedly arguing with another male when he was shot. The shooter fled on foot, and the wounded man is reportedly in stable condition.

According to reports from The Times-Picayune, police cordoned off the scene and placed an evidence cone near a broken brick at the scene. A white box truck with a smashed windshield was nearby.
