Hello Hurricane Season! Evacuteer Community-Wide Training
Thousands of our neighbors may need help evacuating if a major storm comes our way. Evacuteers help run the City of New Orleans’ free and public evacuation plan, City-Assisted Evacuation (CAE), to make sure that our residents are safe and out of harm’s way!
If you couldn’t make it to our first community-wide training on June 17th, this is our second event in the series!
During this session you will be introduced to the history of Evacuteer.org and why we were formed, how the City-Assisted Evacuation plan works, and the vital role that our volunteers play in ensuring that everyone who uses City-Assisted Evacuation is treated with respect and dignity.
Because the City’s evacuation plan is changing in 2019, we encourage all previously trained Evacuteers to attend this training as well. Bring a friend to help us reach our goal of 500 trained volunteers this year!
Dinner will be provided, but you MUST sign up in advance so that we know you’re coming!

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions. We can’t wait to see you there!
