She exuded class, with talent and care,
Despite all hard times that had come before.
Treating all those around her with kindness,
Helping her friends overcome their despair,
All by being herself, never spineless.
In adoration of her strength, I stay,
Grateful to be close to this warrior;
A warrior of light
Of beauty,
Of sight.
In all of the words that she speaks,
And all of the pictures she shoots,
She’s majestic, like the tree of life,
And I’m thankful to know her roots.
